Diane began painting at age ten and soon developed an interest in scientific illustration. She later attended Tulane where she studied biological illustration. Her work as been used in many marine conservation effors, stamps and educational prints among much more. In 1998, Diane began serving on the Board of Directors for Fish Florida!, a non profit organization that helps people, especially children, learn about fishing.
